Here's what happens when you eat Nutella

Ferrero is a well-known chocolate company, having imported its products into Europe for a long time. We all know its iconic products, especially Nutella spread, as well as its various commercial derivatives. There are even snack bars called "Nutelleria," a fast-food concept dedicated to Nutella. We talk about it, we eat it, but is it really good for our health?

Consumed excessively, this product can be very dangerous for your health and that of your loved ones. Indeed, its ingredients are full of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), which are harmful to your health. Discover the ingredients of this spread containing GMOs.

Unhealthy ingredients in Nutella:

Sugar: Extracted from sugar beets, the sugar in this spread is often loaded with chemicals such as pesticides due to cost and production constraints. Far from the natural sugar the body needs, this refined sugar is extremely harmful to health. According to scientific research, it can primarily cause attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, depression, anxiety, and migraines.

Palm oil: With approximately 20% palm oil in a jar, Nutella is a saturated fat bomb. Palm oil has no nutritional value. Furthermore, the palmitic acids found in high quantities in this oil contribute to the buildup of cholesterol plaques on the arteries. Palm oil is used to give Nutella its famous consistency but could have been replaced with coconut oil, for example, to be healthier.

Vanillin: This is a synthetic vanilla flavoring that is dangerous due to its neurotoxic properties, similar to refined sugar, and it destroys brain cells. Even if the label states that there are no artificial preservatives, flavorings like vanillin are present in Nutella. Vanillin is addictive because it stimulates the secretion of serotonin, the "happiness hormone."
