What they are and why you shouldn't underestimate them
If you've noticed small, dusty or sandy-like "cocoons" on your walls, don't be so quick to ignore them. What you're seeing is most likely the work of case -bearing moth larvae - small insects that live and hide in their own "cases."
What exactly are they?
These entities are:
- small protective "bags" made of dust, fibers, and hairs
- home for the moth larva that moves inside them
- attached to walls, corners, furniture or ceilings
The larva partially emerges from the "case" to feed, then hides again.
