A basket of bright red strawberries—an expected treat, but with a terrible discovery
Like every Sunday, I followed my regular shopping ritual: choosing fresh vegetables, checking the labels, and making sure nothing was missing from the list.
The next morning, craving something sweet with my coffee, I pulled out a bag of strawberries to rinse.
As I tore open the package, my eyes froze on something strange.
Among the bright, shiny strawberries lay a long, thin, unfamiliar object.
At first I thought it was a fluke—perhaps a string or lace carelessly left by an employee during packaging.
But one detail instantly shook me: the object seemed to be moving. Very slightly, but enough for me to feel a faint vibration, like a soft breath. My heart raced. I leaned closer, examining every inch, trying to take in what my eyes were seeing.
