What to do if you suspect a stroke

 

Call emergency services immediately and report a suspected stroke.

 

 

 

Note the exact time the first symptoms appeared.

 

 

 

Have the person lie on their side.

 

 

 

 

Free your neck and chest from tight clothing.

 

 

 

Do not give food, water or medication (unless previously prescribed by a doctor).

 

 

 

If possible, measure blood pressure.
