2. Refined sugar – the fuel of inflammation
The white crystals in the sugar bowl may seem innocent, but sugar causes sharp spikes in insulin and creates conditions for chronic inflammation – an ideal environment for the development of malignant cells.
A study in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism showed that excess sugar increased levels of insulin and IGF-1, hormones that stimulate the growth of tumor cells.
In addition, high sugar intake weakens the immune system, redirecting it to glucose control instead of fighting atypical cells.
What does she eat instead?
- Instead of sausages: clean fish, eggs, boiled beans. No smoked and pickled products.
- Instead of sugar: fruits, berries, honey, date paste – in moderation.
- Every day: warm homemade food, green tea, fresh vegetables.
- Additionally: vitamins C, D, zinc and antioxidants – for strong immunity and longevity.
The Wisdom of a Century
"I lived to be 100 years old because every day I was choosing what to feed my body."
There was silence in the hall after these words. Not because they were dramatic, but because they were real. And everyone understood them.
Sometimes health doesn't come from something complicated or expensive. And from something simple: a conscious choice. Every day. On the plate.
